Looking for RE investment connections in NYC

Hello All,

My name is Ling, I'm a total beginner in real estate investing,  very eager to start.

I live in NYC, I'd like to connect and meet with people locally, partners to work with and groups to join. I want to be in the community and build connections. Thought BiggerPockets might be a good place for it.

At this moment, I'm specifically interested in how to own a small rental property with zero or little funds and start building passive income.

Thank you

Ling

@Ling Chen

Welcome to BP.  You have a good idea BUT here in New York you have very slim pickings.  Have you considered investing out of state?  The numbers would be a lot more in your favor in terms of passive income building.
