I really think that when it comes to this time of chaos and fear, doing the right thing for those who booked prior to the pandemic announcement will pay bigger dividends in the future...All we can do is try to alleviate some of their fears and concerns and then let be what will be.Paul

The same would apply here, once the PM knows that a gun has been negligently discharged they are obligated to take action to remedy the situation - what that action is or whether it will alleviate the issue is really case dependent and doesn't really matter so long the PM has shown a reasonable effort to remedy the situation.

@Connor Kelly Other options :Use first rental property to take a HELOC upon for down payment on next rental property.Use a Hard Money Lender / Different Bank on the right deal to buy all cash loan to cost or with less money down.Partner with another private lender or investor to acquire either all cash, you bring the hustle/muscle and they bring the loan/down.Any other way to get it done that makes sense.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/05/2...A section of the actual SBA loan agreement also states:"USE OF LOAN PROCEEDS· Borrower will use all the proceeds of this Loan solely as working capital to alleviate economic injury caused by disaster occurring in the month of January 31, 2020 and continuing thereafter and for loans of more than $25,000 to pay Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) lien filing fees and a third-party UCC handling charge of$100 which will be deducted from the Loan amount stated above."
