in columbus ohio we have to put the value of new builds and the cost of construction if you average enough or look at enough you don't need to talk to anyone. find the city website and do some research first 

What once was a city of 1,600,000 people 60 years ago is now a city of less than 600, 000.  

Your local county/city has most likely adopted the international building code as most do.  

Or you're just on bad dirt.The worst parts of the city seem to be Irving, especially Las Colinas area, northwest Dallas, Farmers Branch, and Carrollton. 

In these cities, the good tends to get better and the bad gets worse.
