I ended up having to get a rubber mallet and a rubber block and pound almost every piece in until it joined correctly.This was after my budget handyman that I found on craigslist had actually nailed it down because he couldn't get it to install right.If that's not the case, then some other options to consider:1.

Many PM's go =out of business because they front repair items for their owners.. only to have the owner tell them to pound sand and move the property somewhere else thereby stiffing them for cost they fronted..

In CA they require 4 years, they do recognize the education, if you have engineering degree or what not, in that case you still have to get 1 year experience in the trade, maybe not really pounding hammers but at least a supervisory level.

Erie itself doesn't get pounded with it too bad, compared to areas a little further south of the lake do, but pretty much anywhere in the surrounding area does.
