yes, generally speaking, we landlord types aren't embracing the new required skill very well. 

The community embraced the park idea and worked to revitalize the area.  

Laugh, dance, cry, sing, draw, enjoy a cup of tea with someone, hug your child, and embrace a loved one.With ying, you'll be a yang that has to keep starting over and over.

Unless you live and breathe Real Estate every day, for years and years, your interpretation of the data, and your knowledge of all the hundreds of little tips, tricks, ans shortcuts which accumulate over the year, simply cannot compare to a full time Broker who embraces his calling in Real Estate.

I've been in the business a long time, and can say with confidence I embrace the opportunity to see something (like land or property in general) I've not seen before, especially when I am already there (physically there) and the time involvement is very low (10-15 minutes, maybe less).

I suggest you get yourself licensed if your in a market where it’s required and embrace the laws. 

I agree with @Jeff Berg - the large windows on the ground floor look good.I also think it can be cool to embrace a bit of the commercial / store front feel and not try to hide it too much. 

Your thoughts of considering the target market is one that I embrace.
