Where i currently live has population of approx 70k and that is close to Milwaukee and Chicago (the giant) both are 1 hour and 3 hours away respectively.

If I took that giant dream and put it into a smaller perspective of figuring out how to afford 1 car.

Love the Jacksonville area (even though your Jags beat my Giants this year lol)...took a number of weekend trips there while I was stationed in Pensacola and had a blast. 

My recommendation is to seek more passive routes of real estate investing such as investment groups, shares of RE Companies, REITs etc for the European theatre as it will relieve you of much of the leg work, hassle and headache, especially if you aren't native (working a deal can be tough as the "American" even when you speak the local dialect).

(I have nothing against either, but his entire unit is filled with empty vodka bottles so it makes me wonder) Also during the inspection today a giant cat ran out of the closet and the tenant replies "I hope you like animals!"

No matter what area of real estate you want to focus, we probably have someone not only doing it in a big way, but a giant way.
