You should also have business cards ordered and give them out to everyone who speaks English and any other language you are fluent in and who would listen to your "elevator speech".

It will depend on how tall the ceiling is in the basement and the elevation of your house in regards to the sewer and water lines, it could be anywhere from a few thousand to 30k.

I decided to experiment on myself and was successful and able to walk again after 2-3 weeks of self treatment using diuretics and laying down and sleeping after 4pm to elevate my legs to help reduce the severe edema.

What I've seen is the older waterfront homes (50's 60's 70's 80's homes) at lower elevations were badly flooded.
