I'm a landlord pondering electronic rent payment...

Well, he emailed me the electronic doc and I went in to sign, when I realized that the contract locks me up until Jan 2016 (he filled that date in, not sure how he chose that) for exclusive rights for him to be my buyer's agent in all transactions for "single family homes / investment properties."  

Amazing how fast a tenant will get paid up (including late fees) if they face eviction. we use electronic locks on units being remodeled.  

There is a common front door.Instead of putting a keyed lock on this, I'm thinking about putting an electronic touch pad lock.  

I co-own several large apartment buildings and want to stop accepting coin payments for laundry machines. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with card/electric payments for this?

HelloWe are looking to have all documents for the lease packet signed/initialed electronically.  

-Banks aren't "always open" and drop box doesn't provide receipt (harder to track, and they lie about depositing the rent in the dropbox on the last day of the grace period, when in fact they deposit it a few days later, I can't prove it)-Tenants forget to send receipts, and our bank electronic banking does not allow us to see deposit receipt so they cannot write their name or property number there.

Hello fellow BP members, My name is Jamie and currently work for a Construction Management / General Contracting company based in midtown Manhattan as an Asst.

Everything is done by phone, email and electronic file. 

Is collecting electronically enough if there were ever any issues?
