A lot of rentals are using granite more and more,, I'd consider a top mount sink, verses under-mount if you have sink, plumbing issues you can removed and service the sink without as many issues than if the sink is under-mounted.

I even called the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles, the DOR (Department of revenue, the MVB (Motor vehicle Bureau) and get a different definition from each.
