New RE Salesperson with goals of investing

Hi,

I'm a soon to be licensed real estate sales person in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY. I have an interest in real estate investing. My investment of choice is promissory notes backed by real estate. My long term goal is to sell real estate with seller financing. I love the flexibility that note investing offers. As I learn the real estate business I want to put together some fix and flip real estate deals with a bit of wholesaling mixed in. I became a real estate sales person to learn the business and build a network of other like minded real estate investors.  I want to learn this business from various perspectives and my intention is to pursuit one or two other jobs in the industry to build multiple revenue streams and further expand my ability to build a network. If anybody has any suggestions or advice I would be grateful.
