I have rented many things in my over 40 years of life including, automobiles from Enterprise, AVIS, Hertz, boats or sea craft from various establishments in various states, and yes countless hotels around the world.Instead of asking me for a deposit they feel entitled to and SS# that is the most sacred of identity data, they simply put a hold on my credit card.

@Mio Chee set up is for sure a hard thing to look at, I would love to set up the Aanonimity but it seems diluted and hard, anything that seems that complex to hide your identity just doesn't feel right, hence how easy it is to pierce the vail. but I do believe in the deterrent to keep their form digging too hard.

Here is a scenario and questioning how I may project nightly rate and occupancy:I'm going to round up numbers to make it easy.House for sale that is 3/2 and is essentially identical to a local (1 mile away) high performing STR, same rooms, baths and beds and yard etc.The high performing STR has over 200 reviews and is 4.85 in AIRBNB.It is charging an average of $200 a night with dynamic pricing and looks like it is booked at about 80% occupancy.Assuming I buy the new place, fix it up and outfit it the same as the local STR, what % could I expect just starting out relative to an established STR in the same market (neighborhood)?

@Isaiah York - If you are in this to build a portfolio of rental properties, then make your life easier and come up with a standard "tenant proof" rehab template that is as identical as possible across ALL of your properties.
