@Nicholas Narahara  go to a myrarebird.com  meeting there are a lot of good folks at those and some good speakers they have monthly meetings..

We get 100-150 at an event in Waltham, and it is 75% experienced people and 25% newbies and affiliated professionalsI'm told Boston Wealth Builders is a good group but I haven't been.Most of the rest are either promoting a selling speaker or a mentorship program. 

We just attended our first meeting and they had a speaker on lease options.  

A good place to get a good overview would be the Distressed Mortgage Expo is coming up in just a few weeks at the Hilton Newark Airport. ( closer to LI than the properties you've invested in ) There will be a lot of great, knowledgable speaker there. 

The topic is money--hard money and mortgage lender speakers.

I went for a while, and then quit.It was largely centered around having gurus come in, speak, try to pump you up, then possibly take their bootcamp.There was good information, but none of the speakers ever discussed an important aspect of real estate investing.  

I have an appointment to speaker with the local broker tomorrow evening.

I am looking for suggestions on speakers for a group of investors who are buying small commercial projects.
