Wendy, Depending on your budget, but here is couple of ways for you to consider: If you live in a big metropolitan city, I would look into Offer Up or similar Apps, because you can find a fairly new appliances for a fraction what it would cost you if you buy brand new. 

If so, you could be very close to the profit on a “hacked” SFH with zero risk and a fraction of the cash needed.

I have been offered a settlement that is a fraction of my original loan but about 1/3 of what the property now appraises at.
