We are Canadians eyeing up the market in the USA and looking to start investing in properties across the border.

Do it with pen and paper first and then once you're well versed, you can start to build out a proforma model.

House hacking is a smart way to get started, and Milwaukee has some great multi-family opportunities if you buy right.

This is definitely a good place to start and to network with people in the market you are looking to invest in.
