Hi @Bryan Clark, I am a novice compared to most people on BP. 

I have yet to earn some extra money to get started in real estate, so in the meantime, what books do you recommend a novice like me to read?

I have not checked lately.. but novice and NPN usually has a pretty steep learning curve.. be careful..

We probably waited too long to pull the trigger in that neighborhood, but because I was a novice, I was comfortable paying a little more to satisfy my confidences in the direction of the market.

Instead they won't an easy & safe way to park their money.The main thing you (or anyone) considering investing out of state (especially as a novice or beginner) is that it's not really that complicated to buy out of state.

The novice VR owners are the reason we have so many city regulations now.

Most experienced bankers would be very hesitant to give large loans to novice investors anyway, especially in the commercial space.

I came across sites such as mashvisor and airdna which seem to be provide solid information for novice investors like myself.
