Also use MLV (mass loaded vinyl) attached with carpet tape directly to the sub floor (under the carpet pad) of the upstairs unit. 

For the right market this could be good.It would have to be intuitive for the user.in general, I’m not that interested in fad type amenities that don’t have mass appeal and add to the property value in general.

They are more focused on social issues than they are on educating the masses or helping agents sell real estate.NAR is trying to sell this agreement as a win, but they threw our entire profession under the bus and it's going to hurt us in the long run.

I have found this way more effective than mass media advertising which tended to get me either nothing, tire kickers, or unqualified candidates. 

The Homeowners market is limited as well with the mass exit of companies from the State.

I will say though if you have the ability financially to do multiple deals a year the 15k could be worth it just to get in with the right contractor. but keep in mind if they are selling this to the masses in a few markets there is going to be a real issue with saturation and not enough folks to actually work on the houses. it takes a special kind of contractor that will do reno's in these markets at a budget that is going to allow you a profit..

Assuming no mass sell off of STRs of course.
