I did not realize that Cincinnati was generally regarded as one of the first great American boomtowns, and the Over the Rhine area was once the pride of the city, and boasts some of the most astounding Itallianette architecture that is rivaled by nowhere else in the U.S.You may recognize the area as the location of the 2001 race riots in Cincinnati that turned pretty ugly.

Logic tells me that if I figure the extra land is worth $200K, that if I refinish this home to rival the others, that I can market it in the $800s.I've considered subdividing it, but it is 30' short of frontage to have 2 homes unless they are semi-detached by use of a breezeway or garage.

@Dax GurrI believe in Utah you can evict after you gain ownership.The reason cash for keys is better is that you want to avoid a contentious relationship while their in your property with nothing to lose...and probably a bit bitter in the first place.Definitely try to talk to them.
