I would want to chase the tourist crowds.  

In smaller/tourist locations the best places fill up fast and knowing you need a reservation is huge.

Adding some social media marketing could also be a game-changer—targeting weekend tourists or traveling professionals with ads.You’re doing a lot right.

But there are also plenty of people who like having community where they live and a home of rising tourists isn't that, no matter what veneer slathered on it by Airbnb. 

From a tourist standpoint we found Lucca, Italy; Amalfi Coast, Italy, San Sebastián, Spain, Bilbao, Spain, Sliema, Malta; Have fun researching.  

One land speculation I bought 4 acres in sonoma County CA ( wine country) in 96 for 27k it was unbuildable at the time ( could not get a septic system on it) Well city grew to us The Graton Casino comes in right across the street and we sold a few years ago for over 2 mil to a land assemblage investment company.

This is located in a tourist lake/ski town with extremely high demand for lodging.  

They bought a second home near a popular tourist area, lived there for the summer, and rented it out during peak seasons.

Investor heaven in '27, and if you wait until '28 it'll be too late. '29 will be like a fine wine. 

Jaco Beach, known for surfing and close proximity to the San Jose airport started new construction projects, that will require an increase in the variety of activities for the tourists.
