Your visceral response to being there is just as important.

There seems to be a visceral disagreement over gateway (NY,Sf,LA, Miami, etc)  cities or not.  

I am no longer in the #debtfreecommunity group so I am going to post this PLAN B win here because I know a few journalists interested in a similar path.Short back story: After viscerally acknowledging the challenges of becoming a homeowner in the SF Bay area while being employed as a journalist I tearfully acknowledged I needed a new plan.

If you're not getting the same rent, the renter in the nicer half is likely going to be resentful that their rent is higher (they know their place is nicer, but that doesn't mitigate the "I'm getting screwed on price" visceral reaction. 

Colors sometimes evoke visceral responses, while white is usually palatable to most people.

I think that's a pretty good way of getting people's "visceral" gut reactions to it, if you're interested.

Maybe the same people who have been waiting to buy high in 2019 and will sell low in the next downturn.Don't get me wrong, when I heard first about the deaths and when I hear stories like Jim K's, I get this visceral reaction of doubt.
