She might be going through the grieving process.

Each persons grieving is their own timeframe and should be respected.Have you contacted the person to let them know you are not interested and to cease contacting you?

You don’t want to come off as greedy as they are likely grieving still so again, tact.

Really, it's just people who are inexperienced and uncomfortable talking with doneone who they are afraid might be grieving, While some certainly are, not all widows are grief struck.
