So, think I am leaning towards splitting my windfall equally between the mortgage and investments.There is the lure to be completely done with the mortgage, feel that exhilaration and then to push along with investments in earnest after that..But, your statement towards the end of wishing you had been more aggressive earlier also struck a very strong chord with me.

Yes, confusing but that's the way the world work sometimes.Yep, at auctions, you often have people either over paying, or underpaying, and some walking away either mad and others exhilarated.
