You will want to interview at least a couple of realtors and determine what resources they have available for you in several arenas (lenders, contractors, more). 

On the other hand, what if you get hit with a slow year and have $0 profit?

I was in a leased building, counting on a hand-shake deal to buy the property in the future.

It always cracks me up when someone hands me a business card that says "President and CEO" and they don't realize how ridiculous that looks.

So let's not be too hard on clients who want someone with hands on experience.You missed my point and my OB/GYN example though.

Can they be more hands-off compared to other types of businesses?
