My business partner and I are somewhat long-distance investors (I spend about a month down there a year) and would like to have a home there that would eventually paid off (preferably closer to the French quarter/CBD).

It was a CBD, transit oriented development deal, the flavor of the month for institutional owners, so therefore the best course for our group was to package it with the impending new entitlements and sell it to a big player. 

@Rousner Ermonfils While we all wait for it to be legalized, you can legally grow industrial hemp (for use in CBD oils, etc) in TN.

I use the soft gummy types, don't even notice them, it's just real quiet.What you have gotten here is the reality, might not be what you want to hear.You can complain as suggested here, just be aware that complaining can backfire.

I currently live in Corktown (immediately west of the Detroit CBD), so I'm pretty familiar with the actual city (although not so much the NW neighborhoods that Saul mentioned).  

The current management company had a tenant who was selling CBD or whatever , which was supposed to be on the up and up anyway raided and arrest were made.
