I am on a long dry spell on purchases, so I have the itch.  

They will significantly boost labor productivity; - Inflation is trending down;- the Fed is itching to lower interest rates and bond markets are starting to sniff out a shift in the winds;- there is a ~$70 trillion wealth transfer from the Baby Boomers to their kidsbeginning (including their homes and real estate assets);- home prices are increasing steadily, not chaotically;- overall rents are up, but steading thanks to apartment rents / supply;- wage growth, for more than a year, is back to above inflation levels;- and the bottom 50% have more $ in their checking accounts than ever before as a % of wealth.

In reality though I can't tell you how many people I have seen come on here itching to grow to the sky and then 6 months later they are gone because they got their wish and probably should have been a little more cautious.

I sat on the sidelines for almost 9 years saving and saving, having an itch I could not scratch, but knowing that real estate IS cyclical. 

I'm itching to learn as much as I can.

Hey guys,I'm going to be living stateside after being active duty overseas the past four years with an itch to get into real estate.Will be in Lawton, Oklahoma for five months (very slim possibility for ~3 years).

I’ve had this itch to get into real estate for a long time, but everytime I start to dip my toes in I get the feeling that with prices/rates where there at it’s hard to justify pulling money from risk free 5.5% ?

I partially jumped in to just keep busy until i figured things out, partially to scratch that itch of REI as maybe I'd get a step closer to doing, either way nothing to loose.
