A saying I have heard is if you want to succeed learn from your mistakes if you want to thrive learn from the mistakes of others.

The only worry I have is not being diversified enough and relying solely on the hospitality market to thrive. 

I thrive in a state which many call "landlord unfriendly."

The reason I want to succeed is to show people like me (first generation immigrant, sandwich generation who takes care of parents and own family, middle class w2 American struggling to thrive) that the dream of financial freedom is not out of reach.
