Lots of single families that may work as student housing if you're willing to do a bit of conversion e.g. living room = bedroom, dining room = bedroom, small common area, shared bathrooms & kitchen.As for Hamden, I don't know much but that it seems a lot of available properties are likely to be a drive, not a walk or bike ride, to Quinnipiac as it's kind of in the sticks comparatively.
