I have been active in STRP scene and have even been to a couple meetings with Airbnb representatives to Nashville and they seem to have no interest in policing themselves.

In the rental scene when things happen you need to address them sooner rather than later.

I'm not familiar with the Indi turnkey scene, but I would imagine that there are plenty of larger companies there that you may want to check out in addition to the one you already found.

It was a wake up call to us to think that what to us was a nightmarish situation could be turned around to our advantage.

Unless you REALLY know the local scene, and can REALLY trust your turnkey provider, who's to say spending over $65k WILL get you a better neighborhood than those $45k ones?...

And if you are a fan of Chris Farley, maybe you recall the Tommy Boy scene where he pitches Ted and tells him a guarantee makes you feel all warm and toasty inside, but all they sold you was a guaranteed piece of s#@t.

Broad ripple is very sought after due to its quaint little shops and "downtown" bar scene.

I am also a newbie located in Saratoga Springs, NY and struggling to convince my partner to take action in the area because the real estate scene is dominated by a few big fish who scoop up most deals before they’re listed anywhere.
