You also can't pay yourself (from the loan amount) for work that you yourself do, but at the same time it's not like I or the underwriter are going to be there watching who is swinging the hammer and I'm going to guess that more than one contractor has taken advantage of that fact.I don't really do the in-person networking thing because by the time I'm leaving the office at 7 pm, I kind of want to be done with RE stuff and hanging out with my wife. :)
