The loan officer might not have been completely truthful with you upfront.There is a huge difference between going with Rocket's retail division and a broker when it comes to pricing.

We were trying to diversify our revenue before the bottom eventually dropped out.So we have been pushing hard to start our new division and thankfully we have everything we need (except customers and advertising dollars), but our savings have run dry.Our overhead is significant, and we have been operating at a loss for several months.We are selling our rental house to get the equity out, and are sure that it will buy us enough time to get our revenue back up to par.

If I find the exact wording, I will come back & post it here, please do some research at the below site, I am pretty sure I had read it here http://www.hcd.ca.gov/policy-research/AccessoryDwellingUnits.shtml- We are also currently building an ADU, we have a shed which is 3 feet from the existing house (the code is 6 feet), we also have a lot of extra concrete on the front yard, but the planning division gave us waivers as it wasn't done by us & was done by previous owner.
