Hey @Brandon Wulff, I ran a 2-bedroom Airbnb in Brooklyn for 2+ years.It's hard to gauge the accuracy of your estimate without specific property information, such as address, year the property was built, # of bedrooms, etc. 

Grew up in Old Brooklyn & Parma myself.

House prices have been appreciating quickly in brooklyn,  ny in the past 5 years.

Same goes for Brooklyn but good luck finding something...it's basically all investor-owned just sitting and waiting to get bought out.

I suggest you find a 40's or 50's bungalow in Parma or in the Cleveland neighborhoods of Westpark, Kamms Corners & Old Brooklyn.
