Video cameras in the bathroom are frowned on. ;)Seriously, you need to make your rental tenant-proof because they're typically not smart enough to know that recurring water can damage things.

I'm looking to install two outdoor cameras at one of my rental properties and I'm reading that I will need a wifi connection to use.

I have a motion activated camera focused on the driveway so I know if anyone is coming or going.

I don't have cameras installed to know exactly who does it.

Also your descriptions mention video camera whether is true or not.

Put up some cameras around the property, an automatic light by the main door, a sign on the lawn that states the property is under surveillance and is being monitored. 

With camera system you have a few things to consider. 

Add outdoor lighting and some obvious cameras along with some inconspicuous ones.

I do wonder if better camera systems would be cheaper, but maybe not.
