Chicago camera installation for 3flat

Hello!

I am an owner of a Chicago 3 flat. I live out of state. I want to have camera and security system installed for improved safety of the property.

Any recommendations for good systems available? I would like to have something that I could access to my phone 24/7, and at the same time have a security person come by in the event it is needed.

Thank you in advance.

There are a number of systems out there.  With camera system you have a few things to consider.  Camera Quality, Lens Focal Length, Recording Retention and where are you storing recordings.  Many of these systems like NEST or ADT offer a pay for ever solution for storage access.  The benefit is that it is in the cloud and accessible from any where. But with the right solution you can have something on premise and still have remote access. A number of things to consider though.  These companies offer a service for a premium.  Do you want to put a bit of work in and not have to pay forever?  That is your call.

You can search for security camera companies on goggle to find folks in your area.  Just remember many of these cloud based companies don't store recordings if the internet is down.  Just keep that in mind and ask the right question.
