Advertise the unit as non-smoking and it will attract more interest, as most renters prefer to live in smoke-free premises.Obese people may qualify as having a disability, so tread lightly there.

This is in regards to adults with disabilities. 

My wife is currently going through the licensing process to open in-home residential care facilities for the developmentally disabled.  

Once the kids are grown, you don't really need it, unless you have a disabled wife or someone else that relies on you.

Im house hacking my way off of disability ( with a roomate too) , and just need a way to have a home for now.

Due to health issues my parents are now on disability and a fixed income and want to move for cheaper cost of living.

I always ask how long they plan on living there and shoot for six month's minimal. 80% of my tenants work but you'll get 1 or 2 that are on social security disability and/or retired.I put nice 32" flat screen TV's in each room that I'll buy used for around $100 from Craigslist or from the local pawn shop.

This is the only one you should call any sort of "pet".Then there is a "service animal" this is like a dog for a blind/disabled person.  

I'm looking to using the VLB  in conjunction with my VA Loan, but my problem is im only receiving disability as income.

Most Americans can not make their ends meet after retirement or disabled.
