I’ve also personally been hired to help a landlord in an eviction where the old property manager accepted Venmo and the records were doctored on the Venmo proof submitted to the court by the tenant and the judge actually bought the tenants fake records and it took six months on appeal with an attorney because that manager allowed that.

Some startups in SF use airbnb for employees on short term contracts.I would probably put smart locks on the property, if you can, for late check-ins.Try google searching corporate rentals Houston and see what pops up first.I also agree if you can talk to local business HR depts. or hospitals that get traveling nurses and doctors.

I dont pay rent in return for driving my mom to doctors.

We have had admins, doctors, nurses etc from that activity.

It's certainly a benefit to work in real estate as an investor, however it's definitely not a requirement--there are plenty of doctors, software engineers etc that employ their extra capital in real estate on the side. 

They are not good reasons, but they are the reality.An analogy: should we all be able to choose a reputable specialized doctor and get an appointment with this doctor the next day?

(I had over 30 doctors).

Maybe my doctors and the hospital would go for that concept from now on. 

Be as discerning when you pick your manager as you would be in selecting a doctor.
