Similarly, My mother-in-law went to live in assisted living homes rather than us having a guest house in the backyard of our current home where we could have hired a nurse full time to be here with her to take care of her at our home.

Having a rock solid SOW can prevent many of the issues that arise during any project.

You basically made a full price offer when you didn't need to. 

There is virtually no reason to keep “cash” on hand for repairs. 

A lot of those new construction projects in Bronzeville are on a slab and framed, as I mentioned above!
