I made sure the studs were covered with 'waterproofing tape' & the joints had more than adequate silicon & the windows were vinyl clad.On the new build I just did for my son I personally observed all window installs but the Pella slider door got me.

In Silicon Valley the expensive luxury homes almost always sell for less than asking price.

In Silicon Valley most homes are at least partially staged.

In Silicon Valley, it is very easy to rent out anything that can be inhabited in locations near universities.

As @Alexander Zurn said you would make an offer contingent upon a property inspection report being acceptable.It's rare but with the high price of land in Silicon Valley, some buyers buy a home without getting inside of all of the tenant occupied areas.

You probably need to watch both categories to not miss something that would be of interest.In Silicon Valley you would often want to enter different criteria for different cities.
