Mine was only 2 years.Buying a house here is like buying a car, but lenders obviously prefer if you are at least an H-1B holder to lend to you, unless you're an all cash/private/hard money user.

@James YeeIt is the start of tax busy season so it will be hard to call an accountant now and ask them to answer a question unless you are already a client of theirs.The short answer is that you will be required to file a MA resident tax return(as you normally would do) plus potentially filing a NH non-resident tax return.NH is a unique state that it does not tax all types of income.

If the front isn't deep enough have a u-shaped driveway with in an H configuration where they park on the side and just back out and turn to go on the road.

When we rehabbed it we went with NG forced air HVAC to eliminate the old system & having to trace pipes in walls/ceilings.We have also found the older thin metal p-traps frozen so we drain or rip them out.Our problem here is water meters freezing & that's a major issue if they burst.However, we currently have a SFH 'winterized' but we do have the heat on (55deg) & our last NG bill was $55.96 & that's cheap insurance !!!!
