To fence a property to prevent 'cut thru' traffic
Hello all,
so I have my first rental and it's a 4 plex. This rental along with about 4 others backs to an alley. The alley continues on past my property and ends up at roads on all ends. My property fronts a major road for the area. I get ALOT of thru traffic on both sides of my property, enough that the dirt is like driving a 4X4 track. My options as I see them are -
1. Fence off the back of the property and prevent any access from alley.
This ( I think ) would impact my rear tenants as they now have to use the driveways to enter/leave.
2. put up some sort of barrier, blocking the drives. This would force the rear tenants to use the alley to access their units.
3. Just live with it and pay to have it smoothed over every year.
Thoughts ?
Thank you
Bruce
