I wrote "I am looking to raise private money" on my name tag and now I have several potential passive partners for my next deal.

@Mark Ainley adding the tag so this gets bumped in your feed. 

However, there might be some value in just passively investing in someone else's deal with a friendly sponsor and then asking to "tag along" for the experience.

I recently had the opportunity to tag along with Auben Capital Partners founder, Tyson Schuetze, to IMN’s Build to Rent conference in Nashville this past week.

However, while we were cleaning up, we treasure hunted out at least $3000 stuff, including $300 cash on the floor, several un-opened Amazon boxes, new-in-box computer/gaming items, hair tool ($300), YouTuber's gadgets, new with tag heated jacket ($220), an unassembled exercise bench ($500 at least), so many new or near new stuff that you can sell.
