Yesterday I received a letter from the Gas company, stating that they would shot off the gas to the property unless I take over the payment.

I live in Rancho Park.I called SoCal Gas to ask them to set up a new meter.  

two things....1. pay a rent notice service to deal with your court stuff. how much do you burn on a plane ticket or gas to get here?

It has power and gas to it already so the plan would be to see if I can make that into another unit.

I have also complained about the very large use of propane gas to heat this house.

Cost me gas to drive 7 miles and had some tape handy.

Where this is your own house, I would look at the benefits of using triple glazed windows (with Argon or Krypton inert gas) to obtain a better U factor.  

Unless you have a local property management company working for you and recommending this, you're likely to either lose a lot of good prospective renters or have to charge less in rent to compensate.Splitting gas to get tenants paying for their own heat is a different story though.

Materials aren't the gas to my engine, however for me certain things keep me motivated & driven, no pun intended :-)FYI: All my tenants know me as the owner's representative, NOT the owner.
