What are the top 10 things I should be able to fix on my own that I don't need a contractor or repair man for? I'm trying to house hack and limit my expenses as much as possible.

Steven Mitchell I can name a few for you.
-door knobs/ change locks
-lights and fixtures
-have tools for small plumbing issues(a snake for small clogs, extra valves for toilets, etc.)
-replace broken screens on windows(if applicable)
-you can even go as far as keeping up your own landscaping if possible
-it's pretty easy to change out closer doors or door hinges(just a couple of screws l)
-just keeping general tools around in general is a good practice

I learned by using YouTube on many concerns. It really does help.

Best of luck to you.
