To further expand on my story, my wife is graduating nursing school with her BSN, and has an opportunity to do very well working remotely and attend a few music festivals a year.

There is a continuous stream of events that includes the Carolina Country Music Festival, numerous biker weeks, and collegiate and age-grade athletic events. 

In the past we have given them a city welcome guide with restaurants, festivals, etc.

The new restaurant scene, arts, festivals, hospitals, and rail trail are just fuel to that fire in my eyes.

We went up to Canal Fulton a couple summers ago for the Canal Days festival.

With a film festival, cherry festival, travel sports picking up, a huge bike race and airport expansion, I still feel Traverse City is a good opportunity. 

It seems high occupancy in festival months but is it a year round rentable market for STR.
