I have it on 30 day minimums and then edit the minimum when I have a few weeks to fill between the longer stays.

We have had guidebooks disappear, and if you have a link version you only have to edit once.You may want to look into a lite version PMS that can sync everything for you including your channel manager, unified inbox, pricing, and automations.Best of luck!
