I had negotiated the rent based on the fact that it would be just her and her daughter, now the boyfriend is there a lot, using the water that I have to pay for, and he was even there when she wasn't.I confronted her about it at renewal time and told her that I would need to screen him and add him to the lease.

Some of the tenants will need to be changed as they've taken advantage, brought in other people not on the Month to Month leases and the current owner doesn't like confrontation - which is what got him to this place.

____________________________________________________________Hey Angel, I've heard that in the UK, if You trespass so many times without challenge that You can eventually end up in court claiming ownership of that land.However, We all know that You cant own any land, only the right to "lay waste upon" the land.Besides confrontation, what's Your angle here?

I don't think I would write them off totally but it wouldn't be starting off with a plus.Good luck on whatever you decide.I generally dnot  like to bring it up right away, in case they don't want the apartment, then there is no reason for me to confront them about it.and they actually did not want the apartment since they wanted much larger bedrooms

Also, I'm not sure I want to get into a direct confrontation with the daughter and eventually just let myself in with an inspector and end up in a very uncomfortable and crazy situation.
