If you're trying to get traveling nurses or single professionals then the tub shouldn't be a deal breaker. 

Starting 10/1 i will have a vacant unit in each home and I am considering trying airbnb in my guttenberg home and maybe a travel nurse housing in the Hackensack home  (10 minutes from Hackensack Marridean Hospital).

He is waiting to be transferred into a nursing home.

LOL thats one way to mitigage it Eric.. but you take other parts of the country and specifically Jackson MS and 90% or more of the tenants are single mothers..

More trouble than its worth unless you partner with an operator that specializes in it and can provide the expertise, nursing contacts, etc. 

However through my research i keep coming across this term sneaky duplex where people turn there basements into a unit or block off part of there house to turn into a separate unit. my plan is to use the basement for traveling nurses because you would already have the water and power turned on for them "house is 5 minutes away from the hospital", live in the upstairs for a year and possible house hack one of the rooms.

These 2 individuals appear to be a mother/son.

@Eric Sato My experience in that area suggests that Mid-term rentals (travelling nurses) may be the next best option.
