Hi all,I'm a new investor in the New York City area, primarily looking to invest in the Queens/Brooklyn/Bronx area.

I live in Brooklyn NY and come from a buy and hold minded family that came to the country about 30 years ago with 0 money and built up a nice portfolio all over New York.

My name is Jordan, I'm 21, a college student, and from Brooklyn.

I taught Chemistry and Mathematics for 10 years in Brooklyn and Philly and then decided to give that all up for a change of career.

I'm looking for info from the folks currently working in the area (anywhere on Long Island, and even Brooklyn/Queens) as to where they are buying, general specs on the properties such as size, price range, and market trends/demographic info that have produced successful results. 

We live pretty simply, so we don't need huge money to be financially independent.I own a two-family home in Brooklyn, NY.

Interesting you mention in Cleveland Ohio I had two friends travel down there Recently And they mentioned to me that there’s a bunch of good rental income in the area for reasonable Rates compared to our neck of the woods like Long Island New York or Brooklyn New York.I sincerely hope I was of some help,Wishing you much success.
