Hi all, I'm a new investor in the New York City area, primarily looking to invest in the Queens/Brooklyn/Bronx area. I must admit, I've taken a lot of courses offered by gurus over the past few months, but don't have a lot to show for it besides a heavy knowledge base. I'm glad I landed on this website before it may have been too late. Looking forward to being able to put my first deal together. Looking mainly at foreclosures, 1-4 family properties. Thanks, and good luck to everyone! Vincent

@Vincent Park .... Welcome to BP!!! Where in the city do you live?  There is a lot of resources here on BP and it's free. Read @Brandon Turner 21 books to read, listen to the podcasts and then listen to them again you are going to hear something you did not hear before, however you commute if you have a tablet or phone but the books on them so you can read or listen to continually educate yourself, and network. You can go to meetup.com to find out about real estate networking events in the city.  What kind of real estate are you going to invest in buy and hold, flip, etc. Happy Investing!!!!
