It seems to be something the banks are moving towards over the last 10 years or so.If you want to move to WL from your term, you might want to do it as a supplement of the term because the concept of “infinite banking” is to keep the death benefit as low as possible to promote cash value growth.At the same time, since you’re “squashing” the death benefit in the WL, you may still need a certain amount of coverage for your family if you pass.I look at the death benefit in the “infinite banking” scenario as an ancillary bonus because the growth of the cash is the primary goal.

Steven,Our goal is to accumulate 5-6 properties over the next 10-15 years, get them paid off so that they will generate some good cash flow to supplement retirement income and even allow for earlier semi-retirement ; over the long-term, possibly build a small company that our kids could take over and expand later.For us it is too late to build anything BIG - FAST; but for them, it might not be - especially if they will take over the little we could build over the next 10-20 years.

IDEAL situation would be to do short term (Airbnb) rental when it is not in use to supplement this luxury but I do realize with zoning laws/subletting and being a foreigner it may be problematic.I will be travelling to Ohau on March 27th - April 4th 2020.
