One is either likeable and comes across as trustworthy, or they are not.

As such, I'm needing a few contractor contacts in the area that are dependable, vetted, and trustworthy for a number of items that will be done (furances, water heater, windows, etc).

Above all, be sure the seller is someone who is trustworthy.

I'm sharing this because I feel like everyone should be able to work with a trustworthy general contractor.

In any case besides all that  I am currently looking for a reliable and trustworthy handyman and gardner (minimum twice a month visit to water plants and keep weeds at bay nothing extravagant, but knowledgable as the yard could use more landscaping) to get on board and not sure which direction to go.

We have also posted at work and on our church bulletin boards to try to get trustworthy tenants. 

Also how do you find trustworthy property managers and screen them when they are out of state?

For example, for sellers I think it can be beneficial to have more than a squeeze page because they tend to be more hesitant and skeptical and you need to establish yourself as professional and trustworthy.  

Partner with a trustworthy real estate agent.

It is doable but you will need someone trustworthy to see it through.
