I don't know your zip codes nor would I recognize the demographics outside CA.However, you need yo create multiple tough campaigns that seek to identify specific triggers as catalysts and dial in your copywriting and all marketing to those issues, even at the exclusion of others. 

Once you see your role more clearly, you'll see that the absentee owner list talked about on BP is generally crap because there are insufficient catalysts. 

I have learned many different strategies and I am trying to nail down one or two that I can focus on and master before I move on to more innovative and savvy techniques.

Do to my current travels for work I have not been able to attend any REIA meeting, but in Nov I have already signed up for two REI meeting.

This sale (for your reference) which just took place this Past Tuesday (1st Tues in Nov). had about 800-1000 properties, subject to a one year redemption.Furthermore, because I had a courtesy list of properties offered at the Sale I was able to go back home and analyze those properties that were Not-Sold/ which received NB-no bids---and learned that there were soooo many GREAT DEALS left on the Table.

I won't discount the value of a catalyst like despising your job to give you the push you need to do something else, but I would ask: what will make you, and this time, different?
